The Service is designed specifically for the smooth operation of checking the site for availability. The frequency of verification (frequency of the robot entering to check the site) is once a minute (with a paid connection) or once every hour (with a free connection).
The check is performed according to two parameters - the server’s http code (server response code) and the text on the page of the site. When adding a site for verification (connecting the site to the Service), the user sets these parameters.
As soon as the site connects to the Service, the analysis of the information received from the server (hosting) and the information that the user has left begins. In the event that one or both of the parameters that come from the server (hosting) do not match the ones set by the user, the user is notified of the problem by sending an Email. A letter is also sent to the user if the site does not respond to a request from our Service.
A letter is also sent immediately after the site becomes available to customers (when there is a coincidence of information from the site and left by the user or if the site begins to respond to a request from our Service). Thus, if you compare the time between letters (Email), you can determine the downtime of the site.
To better monitor the status of the site, place your e-mail logo on the main screen (desktop) of your phone (tablet, computer) and set up a sound signal that will inform you that a new letter has arrived. We recommend marking Emails from our Service as important so that you do not miss an Email about the problem or it does not end up in the Spam folder.
We draw your attention to the fact that the Service works 24 hours a day 7 days a week. That is, CONTINUOUSLY monitoring sites that are connected to the Service.
